Installable H2O-Stop (MHS)
The installable H2O-Stop is placed in the neck of the compatible tank, where it remains during normal vehicle use. It filters incoming fuel with each refueling, without requiring removal and re-insertion for each use.
Ensure that the filter is correctly positioned and stable in its designated seat before proceeding with refueling. Do not force the assembly: if the filter does not fit easily into the seat, stop and check the model's compatibility.
Portable H2O-Stop (PHS)
The H2O-Stop PHS is a portable filter to be used during refueling: it is inserted between the fuel nozzle and the vehicle's tank neck, filters the fuel in transit, and is removed at the end of the operation. It does not remain permanently mounted on the vehicle.
Always check the compatibility of the flange with the refueling nozzle used and keep the filter stable during fuel flow.
Maintenance and Replacement
H2O-Stop is not washable, not regenerable, and must not be treated with solvents or detergents of any kind. Any attempt to clean it may compromise the filtering structure and render the product unsafe.
Proceed with replacement in case of:
- visible damage to the filtering structure (tears, deformations, perforations);
- significant contamination by retained impurities;
- reaching the declared end-of-life for the model;
- doubts about integrity after an accident or improper use.
Warnings
This product is intended exclusively for compatible vehicles indicated in the technical data sheet. Do not use on unverified vehicles. Failure to follow installation instructions may reduce filter effectiveness.
