Installation
The fuel pump filter is installed in the fuel suction circuit, upstream of the fuel pump, according to the position specified by the vehicle's specific application.
Compatibility check
Each SKU is specific to the indicated model. Before purchase or installation, verify compatibility using the official PurMotors application list or the validated OEM Cross Reference. Use on models not listed is not supported and may result in incorrect assembly.
Procedure
Installation recommended by a workshop or qualified personnel. Secure the vehicle and follow the procedure outlined in the service manual to access the fuel supply circuit. Once accessible, proceed with installation according to the specific product instructions. Reassemble according to the vehicle manual.
Maintenance and replacement
No routine maintenance
The fuel pump filter is a single-use item. It does not require washing, regeneration, or periodic inspections during normal use. Do not wash, do not regenerate.
When to replace it
Replacement is indicated in the following cases:
- Confirmed contamination or obstruction
- Damage to the filter element
- End of the indicative service life
- Technical intervention on the fuel supply circuit
Indicative lifespan
- Use without H2O-Stop: approximately 30,000 / 40,000 km
- Combined use with H2O-Stop: approximately up to 60,000 / 80,000 km, because H2O-Stop helps reduce free water and impurities entering the tank during refueling.
The values indicated are estimated guidelines. Actual lifespan depends on fuel quality, frequency of use, and vehicle operating conditions.
