Air Filter Use and Maintenance
Correct Use
The air filter must be installed in the designated location in the vehicle, respecting model compatibility. Before installation, ensure the filter is intact, correctly positioned, and stable in its housing. Do not force installation if the filter does not fit correctly.
Routine Maintenance
Periodically check the filter's condition, especially after use in dusty environments, off-road, or with significant dirt. A clogged, damaged, or improperly cleaned filter can reduce airflow and compromise engine protection.
Cleaning and Drying
Wash the filter with appropriate and non-aggressive products. Avoid solvents, gasoline, high-pressure jets, or close-range compressed air. After washing, allow the filter to dry completely before reinstallation. Do not install the filter if it is still wet or deformed.
Warnings
Do not bend, crush, or deform the filter structure. Do not use the filter if it has cuts, tears, or obvious damage. Always check compatibility with the vehicle before use. In case of intensive use or severe environmental conditions, increase the frequency of checks.
